I won’t go into much detail about my background (as you can read it elsewhere on the website), but I am in a unique position as having worked for insurance companies, injured workers, and the administrative body that regulates and adjudicates workers’ compensation claims. I have seen quite a bit from all sides. I have spoken to literally thousands of injured workers, seen literally hundreds (if not thousands) of settlements, and litigated cases from Industrial Commission to the Idaho State Supreme Court. I hope to provide a bit of insight from different angles through this blog. Additionally, I want to address changing issues in the law and answers to common client questions. I may even go on the occasional rant as to the way the law SHOULD work VS. how it DOES work.
